We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate experience in working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions to improve the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on data collection and analysis.
Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to support clients in achieving their goals.
Monitor client progress through regular data collection and analysis, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
Provide training and support to staff and caregivers in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including medical records and patient assessments.
Participate in intake processes for new clients, ensuring all relevant information is gathered for effective treatment planning.
Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral health and special education.
Qualifications
Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
Proficiency in data collection methods and ability to analyze behavioral data effectively.
Familiarity with medical terminology, documentation practices, and HIPAA regulations.
Previous experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
A background in special education or related fields is advantageous.
