We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that promote positive behavioral changes and enhance the quality of life for our clients.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine the needs of clients.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
Provide training and support to parents, caregivers, and staff on behavior management techniques.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient records and intake assessments, in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in behavioral health.
Requirements
Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
Proven experience in behavioral therapy, particularly with children and individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities.
Strong knowledge of special education principles and practices.
Proficiency in data collection methods relevant to behavior analysis.
Familiarity with medical terminology, records management, and documentation standards.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
Ability to conduct patient assessments and develop tailored interventions based on individual needs.
