We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, conducting assessments, and providing support to clients and their families. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement evidence-based interventions and monitor progress towards goals.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and families, to ensure cohesive care.
Provide training and supervision to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques.
Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay current with developments in the field of behavioral analysis and participate in ongoing professional development.
Advocate for clients' needs within various settings, including schools and community organizations.
Experience
A minimum of two years of experience working in behavioral health settings is preferred.
Demonstrated experience working with individuals with autism and developmental disabilities.
Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical documentation practices.
Background in special education is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also being self-directed.
