Job Headline:
We are looking for a part-time or full-time position Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCBA-D to take our services to the next level in the Raleigh, NC area. Responsibilities include managing a caseload of learners' individualized ABA programs (supervising technician-led treatment and occasionally providing direct treatment), conducting parent coaching, and leading other training sessions. Candidate must have experience in home/community-based work and challenging behaviors. Candidate should also be a strong communicator. The ability to commute is required.
Location:
Within driving distance of Raleigh, NC.
Responsibilities:
Assess and identify goals and conduct skill-based and functional behavioral assessments
Design individualized intervention plans
Provide direct treatment and/or monitor implementation of intervention plans by behavior technicians in-home or in-school
Analyze data, monitor client progress, and make necessary changes to meet goals
Train behavior technicians
Coach parents and facilitate workshops or group meetings
Proactively maintain communication about treatment, progress, and concerns with client and family
Maintain accurate and funder-compliant documentation for billable tasks
Collaborate to optimize treatment utilization
Collaborate to conduct staff evaluations, in-service workshops, and to develop new training materials
Qualifications:
BCBA or BCBA-D
CT LBA
Psy. degree, other complementary specialty (special education, social worker, speech language pathology, occupational therapy, physical therapy), or ability to evaluate and establish a diagnosis - preferred but not required
Experience in scope and sequence of early learning curriculum
Experience providing training and supervision to behavior technicians
Experience providing parent training
Experience conducting functional and skill-based assessments
Experience identifying goals for in-home, in-community, and in-school programs for individuals with autism and related disorders and their family
Experience with insurance-funded protocols
Experience with SIBs
