We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in the greater Des Moines, IA metro area. Relocation will be provided for qualified candidates. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for working with child patients with developmental disabilities, particularly children with autism. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing behavioral interventions to promote positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine the needs of clients.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, ensuring a supportive and therapeutic environment.
Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Conduct intake assessments for new clients to gather relevant history and information.
Train and supervise staff in implementing behavior intervention strategies.
Stay current with best practices in behavioral health and special education.
Requirements
Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
Masters Degree is required.
Experience working with children, particularly those with autism.
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques and principles.
Proficiency in data collection methods and analysis for tracking client progress.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and documentation practices.
Understanding of patient care standards and patient assessment protocols.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
