We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of individualized behavioral intervention plans for children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder. Your expertise will drive meaningful progress in clients' communication, social, and adaptive skills while ensuring compassionate patient care. As a BCBA, you will collaborate closely with families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based practices rooted in applied behavior analysis (ABA). Duties
Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
Design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention programs based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) for children and individuals with developmental disabilities.
Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to track progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
Provide direct behavioral therapy services, including one-on-one sessions with clients to promote skill acquisition and reduce problematic behaviors.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers to ensure consistency across environments and maximize treatment outcomes.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, records of patient assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Conduct behavioral health evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment strategies for clients with autism or other disabilities.
Educate families and team members on behavior management techniques, medical terminology related to behavioral health, and best practices in special education settings.
Ensure all services adhere to ethical standards and comply with state licensing requirements for behavior analysts.
Qualifications
Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or eligible for certification; active certification preferred.
Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, data collection methods, and patient assessment procedures.
Familiarity with medical documentation practices, medical terminology related to behavioral health, and maintaining confidential medical records in accordance with HIPAA standards.
Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and intake assessments for diverse populations.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with families, multidisciplinary teams, educators, and healthcare providers.
Ability to work compassionately with people of all ages who have disabilities or behavioral challenges in various settings including clinics or homes.
