We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Blow Molding Changeover Technician to join our team in Naugatuck. This role is responsible for performing efficient mold and line changeovers, setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance of blow molding machinery to support production schedules and quality standards.

Requirements/Qualifications:

Perform mold and tooling changeovers on Bekum blow molding machines according to production schedules Set up machines to produce bottles/containers per specifications (size, shape, weight, color, etc.) Conduct machine adjustments, fine-tuning, and test runs to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist maintenance when needed Monitor equipment and report necessary repairs Maintain proper documentation including changeover logs, maintenance records, and quality checks Ensure all safety protocols and company procedures are followed Work collaboratively with production, maintenance, and quality assurance teams

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in blow molding operations (HDPE, PET, or extrusion blow molding) Knowledge of Bekum machinery is very helpful! Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine setup Experience making adjustments to production equipment processes to change material distribution, weights, heights, and other physical properties/dimensions, parison, etc. Knowledge of mold change procedures [changeover team, setup tech, process tech, super tech] and steps/methods for line changes
