Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Blow Mold Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and be skilled in operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting blow molding machinery. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, consistent, and high-quality bottle/container production.



Responsibilities



Machine Operation & Production

Set up, operate, and monitor blow molding machines according to production requirements.



*

Adjust machine settings to maintain proper temperature, pressure, and speed.



*

Inspect molds, tools, and machine components for proper function.



*

Start, stop, and change over machines as needed for shift or product changes.



Quality Control



*

Perform regular inspections on produced bottles/containers (weight, wall thickness, visual defects).



*

Document and report defects or abnormalities to supervisors.



*

Ensure products meet all customer and company specifications.



Troubleshooting & Maintenance



*

Diagnose and correct minor machine issues to prevent downtime.



*

Assist maintenance teams with basic mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.



*

Keep machines clean, lubricated, and operating safely.



Safety & Compliance



*

Follow all company safety guidelines, lockout/tagout procedures, and PPE requirements.



*

Maintain a clean and organized work area.



*

Report all safety hazards or incidents immediately.



Requirements



*

Previous experience in blow molding, plastics production, or related manufacturing environment preferred.



*

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand machine operations.



*

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.



*

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.



*

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.



*

Basic math and measurement skills.
