Job Summary

With Safety as a primary responsibility, this position is responsible for supervising overall plant operations and employees to ensure non-stop production of top-quality products.

Job Responsibilities

Oversee production team to maintain all plant fundamentals - Safety, Quality, Productivity, Housekeeping, Preventative Maintenance Enforce safety policies and procedures Drive key metrics and work for continuous improvement in the plant Oversee the daily preventative maintenance program and coordinate maintenance projects Recruit, train and mentor employees Maintain discipline and address rule violations Adjust employee schedules to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs Flexibility to work different shifts to support team, as needed

GED Maintenance experience and/or sufficient mechanical aptitude is needed Minimum two years industry and general office experience Knowledge of construction products, computers, basic accounting, and inventory Working knowledge of manufacturing / production plants preferred Employee management experience preferred Ability to lift up to 100 pounds Endure intermittent climbing, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling Walking and standing for long periods of time

Compensation

$30 - $35/hr, Based on experience
