Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced

Concrete Block Machine Operator

to operate and maintain our

Columbia Model 16 block machine

. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with automated block production equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor the

Columbia Model 16 block machine

and related production equipment. Set up molds, mix designs, and machine settings for each production run. Conduct daily maintenance and lubrication of equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical or control issues as needed. Perform quality checks on finished products for dimensions and strength. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Work closely with batching, curing, and yard teams to ensure production goals are met.

Qualifications:

Experience operating Columbia block machines

(Model 16 preferred). 3+ years of experience in

concrete block or precast manufacturing

. Strong mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings. Forklift experience a plus. Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented.
