Job Summary:

Performs functions directed towards successfully and efficiently meeting packaging goals for customer orders by dumping ready to package product to the Hopper on packaging lines.

3rd Shift (11pm - 7am)

Essential Functions:

+ Verifies ingredients being Dumped + Verifies batch with Supervisor as needed
+ Dumps blended ingredients or products into Hopper as per job order.
+ Frequent pushing / pulling of drums weighing over 100 lbs.
+ Required to assist in stacking at the end of the line as needed by loading boxes/bags onto a pallet. Requires lifting up to 25 - 55 lbs. continuously.
+ Required to assist in bagging of product as needed. Requires pushing/pulling up to 55+ lbs. Maintains packaging standards.
+ Completes paperwork as needed.
+ Must maintain integrity of product.
+ Must assist in inventory and cycle counts
+ Keeps area and equipment clean; follows LOTO procedures when cleaning equipment.
+ Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or GED equivalent. + Minimum of 1 year packaging experience within a food manufacturing environment.
+ Ability to comfortably operate packaging equipment, including scale and label printer.
