We are seeking a skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team on a contract basis in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining, repairing, and calibrating a wide range of biomedical equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of biomedical equipment in a hospital setting. Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company policies Train and mentor junior technicians as needed Collaborate with other departments to ensure equipment is functioning properly

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred. CBET certification required Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician in a hospital setting. Strong knowledge of medical equipment systems and components Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Must pass background and drug screen
