THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO UCONN STUDENTS ONLY-International Students must have ISSS approval prior to applying for this position. Student employee position assists Research staff with biographical updates and special research projects related to the Blackbaud database. Also assists Prospect and Biographical Data Coordinator within the Advancement Services Unit. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Biographical Data Enhancement/Update Projects; including UConn Magazine Alumni News & Notes, Death Row, Schools & Alumni Assoc. projects, etc.
- Backup to Prospect & Biographical Data Coordinator for Blackbaud Updates; including Research reports, News Alerts, etc.
- Special Research Projects.
Experience and Skills
Key Competencies
- Dependability a must
- Proficiency with a computer and knowledge of Microsoft office software programs; i.e. Word, Excel and Access
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality concerning donor related and other information
- Ability to interact in a professional manner as a representative of the Foundation on campus and within the Foundation
- Ability to use office machines i.e. scanner, copier, adding machine, fax
- Values diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Enrollment at the University of Connecticut
- A student in good standing related to grade point average and student code of conduct
