Role Summary

BIM technician focused on producing clean, consistent

as-built models at LOD 200-350

from site surveys, photos, field notes, and point clouds for commercial TI projects.

Key Responsibilities

Build and update Revit as-built models (LOD 200-350) from laser measurements, point clouds, and survey packages. Trace/convert legacy PDFs/CAD to Revit; align to project coordinates; set levels/grids. Create/clean basic families, name elements consistently, and follow office standards. Set up sheets, views, view templates, and export PDFs/CAD deliverables. Perform self-check QA/QC against field notes, photos, and redlines; log variances. Coordinate with Design Lead/PM for scope questions; flag conflicts and missing data. Maintain organized model files, links, and issue sets.

Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in

Autodesk Revit

(production modeling, views/sheets, families). Understanding of

LOD definitions (200-350)

and basic construction/drafting concepts. Ability to read floor plans, RCPs, elevations, and basic MEP/structural references. Detail-oriented, fast, and consistent; follows set standards.

Preferred

Experience with

point clouds

and

Autodesk ReCap

(basic registration/clipping). Familiarity with Revit,

Bluebeam

, and AutoCAD. Exposure to retail/commercial TI surveys and photo-documenting spaces. Basic grasp of ADA/egress clearances for modeling accuracy. *

production experience or strong portfolio from coursework/internships.
