About the Role
Join a globally recognized engineering firm at the forefront of digital infrastructure design. We are hiring two BIM Designers to support high-impact public works projects across New York City. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to transformative infrastructure initiatives.
Role Overview
As a BIM Designer, you will develop and manage 3D models and 2D drawings, support BIM workflows, and assist with visualizations, clash detection, and quantity take-offs. You'll work closely with engineers and project managers to ensure design accuracy and digital delivery across multiple infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain 3D models and 2D drawings using Bentley and Autodesk platforms
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure design precision
• Support BIM workflows across multidisciplinary teams
• Assist with visualizations, clash detection, and quantity take-offs
• Ensure model integrity and version control throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in design coordination meetings and contribute to digital delivery strategies

Qualifications

• Proficiency in OpenRoads, MicroStation, Bentley, Revit, and AutoCAD
• Strong understanding of BIM principles and digital design workflows
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience Levels

• Mid-Level: 2-4 years of experience
• Senior-Level: 6+ years of experience + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Drafting, or related field

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $63.00/hr.
