Full-Time
Billing Supervisor
in
Princeton
,
NJ
or Newtown, PA
to support the daily operations of our billing department. The Billing Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the workflow, training Billing Specialists, and providing hands-on assistance with billing, collections, and account management. You will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate billing processes while supporting team efficiency and development.
This is an onsite opportunity.
Starting Salary:
$80,000 per year
Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Billing Specialists on weekly, bi-weekly, and ensure that monthly billing cycles are completed for all states
Review and analyze claims and denials
Initiate and support Billing Department for claim appeals when necessary
Prepare billing summary reports for the Billing Director for all claims submitted each week
Inform the Billing Director and other applicable managers if submitted revenue is below the weekly average and report any problems that have arisen during the week
Generate and distribute correspondence and report to assist in the collections process
Perform Billing Clear duties as needed to assist the billing team
Prepare other clerical or supervisor duties as assigned
Deliver excellent communications across the organization, both written correspondence and verbal
All other duties as assigned
Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Bachelor's degree preferred
5+ years of experience in Medicaid billing and a thorough understanding of the requirements of Medicaid billing
Intermediate excel experience required
Therap and NetSuite experience a plus
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
Collaborative with demonstrated leadership experience
Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
