We are a reputable and growing oral surgery practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Our team is committed to professionalism, compassion and excellence in every aspect of the patient experience. We are currently seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join our administrative team.

Position Summary:

As the Billing Specialist you will be responsible for over seeing and executing the day to day billing operations of the practice, including but not limited to insurance claims, patient billing, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow up. Your attention to detail and knowledge of dental/ oral surgery billing will help ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.

Key Responsibilities:

Submit insurance claims (electronic and paper) accurately and in a timely manner Post insurance and patient payments: manage EOBs Follow up on unpaid claims, denials and appeals Verify insurance benefits and pre authorizations Answer patient billing inquiries professionally Maintain patient accounts and reconcile balances Work with the clinical and front office teams to ensure accurate coding and documentation Stay current with insurance regulations and coding changes (E.G CDT, CPT, ICD-10) Working together as a team player

Preferred Skills:

Experience in dental billing and coding but not required Familiarity with medical billing practices is a plus. Basic math skills.
