This position is full-time. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8am - 5pm (Will work during their time zones).

We offer weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with insurance carriers to reconcile/resolve any issues
  • Analyzes and reconciles cash posting entries
  • Familiar with explanation of benefits
  • Maintains Compliance and HIPAA standards at all times
  • Meets or exceeds daily production standards
  • Meets or exceeds daily quality standards
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned
  • Process insurance, client and patient refunds
  • Process adjustments and credit balances
  • Evaluates and responds to all emails request for any deposit issues in order to resolve in a timely matter

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years of experience in working within a professional setting doing high volume data entry
  • Ability to work full-time, between 8am - 5pm (Will work during their time zones)
  • Ability to work overtime as needed based on department needs
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Banking or Medical Billing experience
  • Ability to create and modify spreadsheets within Microsoft Excel
Telecommuting Requirements:
  • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
  • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Soft Skills:
  • Demonstrated problem solving, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to navigate on internet for researching purposes
California, Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington or Rhode Island Residents Only: The hourly range for California / Colorado / Connecticut / Nevada / New York / New Jersey / Washington / Rhode Island residents is $16.00 - $31.44 per hour.
