Job Description

Western Berks Ambulance Association (WBAA) is seeking an experienced Billing Manager to lead our billing team and oversee all aspects of the EMS billing cycle. This role manages billing for both WBAA and contracted clients, ensuring timely claims processing, compliance, and strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support the EMS billing team; oversee daily billing operations. Ensure accurate claim submission, payment posting, denials management, and compliance with payer requirements. Serve as the primary liaison for contracted billing clients and provide regular performance updates. Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve collections and workflow efficiency. Maintain strong knowledge of EMS billing practices, rules, and regulations and ensure HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications

3-5 years of EMS or healthcare billing experience (EMS experience preferred). Prior supervisory or team lead experience required. Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid rules and EMS billing software systems. Strong communication and client service skills.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
