Job Description

A global logistics company in the Carlstadt, NJ area is looking for a Bilingual (English / Japanese) Moving Coordinator. This is a full-time, direct hire, on-site position.

Bilingual (English / Japanese) Moving Coordinator Responsibilities Include:

Involved in pre-moving planning to final delivery

Enter shipment data into database and logistic systems (ie: inventory list and shipment detail)

Handle packing of household items, including furniture and big items

Assist in transporting, loading, unloading and packing of household items

Travel to customer locations for moving coordination

Communicate with customers regarding shipment details and advise any potential issues

Ensure all shipment documents are completed

Perform basic office duties such as photo-copying, data entry and so on

Other duties as assigned

Bilingual (English / Japanese) Moving Coordinator Requirements Include:

Business level in Japanese is required

High school diploma or equivalent is required; Associate or college degree in Logistics is preferred

1-2 years of administrative or customer service experience is preferred

Ability to travel locally

Valid Driver's license

Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment

Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills

Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently

Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel

While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
