We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with bicycle maintenance and repair. This role involves diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that all equipment meets safety standards. The Repair Technician will also engage with customers to provide exceptional service and support.

Duties

Diagnose and repair various mechanical issues related to bicycles and equipment. Perform tune ups, brake repairs, and general bicycle maintenance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to execute repairs and assembly tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Assist customers with inquiries, providing knowledgeable advice on repair services and products. Engage in retail sales activities, utilizing retail math skills to assist customers in making informed decisions. Lift heavy items as needed during the repair process or while assisting customers. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.

Skills

Proven service technician experience in a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in bicycle maintenance and repair. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and performing assembly tasks. Experience with brake repair and suspension systems is highly desirable. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with retail sales processes, including basic retail math skills. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties. A passion for cycling is a plus, as it aligns with our company's focus on cycling-related products and services. Base Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
