Requirements
Completed 35-Hour BHP Certification
Current CPR certification
1+ year of experience working as a BHP
High school diploma or equivalent (18+ years old)
Valid driver's license/Commercial auto insurance/Reliable transportation/DMV Check
State and federal background checks
Maine Child Protective Registry check
Responsibilities
Support children with behavioral, developmental, and emotional needs
Provide skill-building and behavior-support interventions
Use redirection, de-escalation, and positive behavior strategies
Follow individualized treatment goals
Document daily services accurately
Communicate professionally with families and supervisors
