Are you passionate about addressing behavioral health needs and making a meaningful impact in the lives of Kentuckians? We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Program Administrator to join our team and play a key role in supporting one of the state's most vulnerable populations.



As the First Episode Psychosis (FEP) Program Administrator, you'll help enhance and develop systems to support individuals experiencing their first episode of psychosis. You'll be part of a team committed to high standards and evidence-based practices, ensuring that Kentuckians receive the essential services they need.



This is a federally funded time-limited (FFTL) position. This means it is a position that is paid entirely as the result of a federal grant. The duration of employment shall not exceed the life of the federal grant that funds the position. An employee appointed to an FFTL position is required to meet the minimum requirements for the classification. Further, an employee appointed to an FFTL position is designated as an unclassified (non-merit) employee. An FFTL employee is eligible to receive benefits at the same level as a classified (merit) employee in a permanent position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Provide administrative oversight of the FEP program statewide Provide training and technical assistance to community partners implementing FEP services Collaborate with internal and external partners to meet federal and state regulations Work with both internal and external partners to ensure that FEP is fully and accurately implemented throughout the Commonwealth Collect programmatic data and interpret for decision-making and required reports Develop and monitor program budget Develop and monitor program contracts Identify funding opportunities for expansion of FEP across the Commonwealth Write grants and applications to secure funding and learning opportunities Support Kentucky's disaster crisis counseling (not therapeutic counseling) and outreach services Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate would have:Subject matter expertise in SMI and FEP Communication and collaboration Data collection and interpretation Organizational and project management Contract monitoring Budget development and oversight Outcomes driven and forward planning Adaptability

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION:

Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.



EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS:

Five years of professional experience in the administration or management of institutional activities, BHDID Central Office, community, or agency programs.



Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE:

A master's degree in behavioral health, disability or a health related field (such as human services, psychology, nursing, health administration, substance abuse, special education, rehabilitation, social work, sociology) will substitute for two years of the required experience.



Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION:

Additional professional experience in the management and/or administration of a clinical or administrative program, program analysis, financial analysis, or general administration of activities within a facility/institutional/community setting or central office will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Working Conditions
Works primarily in an office setting within a behavioral health or intellectual disabilities program.
