Job Title Beverly\'s Assistant Manager Job Summary The Beverly\'s Assistant Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining guest service. This position directly alleviates our General Manager from on-the-floor troubleshooting with restaurant equipment, menus, and or staff and guests related issues. Beverly\'s Assistant Manager aids in hiring, training, evaluating, and holding Beverly\'s staff to company and restaurant standards. Essential Functions

  • Ensures that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest and by maintaining
outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other components of guest services. This includes touching tables every shift.
  • Recruits, trains, develops and communicates with all staff as well as assesses
performance on a regular basis.
  • Assist General Manager in interviewing and processing new employees through our HR department.
  • In charge of adjusting employee rates on a daily basis for up-to-date labor reports.
  • Aids in booking large groups and private boardrooms on quick turn around times to assist the Private Dining Manager.
  • Being present on the floor during all hours of service.
  • Ensuring all side work is completed and proper closing and or opening procedures are
followed.
  • Responsible for PM pre-shift notes and Assisting the AM manager in all boardroom set up for the evening.
  • Maintains all uniform standards, restaurant and boardroom standards and monitors
inventory levels and reports to General Manager in all cases that need to be addressed.
  • Plans and assigns daily goals, tasks and assignments.
  • Works closely chefs and eMenu provider to adjust and update our menus at any given moment. This includes repairs and updates that need to be addressed.
  • Takes lead on printer malfunctions and Micros updates.
  • Maintains adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Performs any other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
  • Listens and communicates clearly at the beginning and during every shift to employees on the floor regarding floor seating and business levels.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years management.
  • High school diploma or higher education preferred.
  • Must work holidays.
  • Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development.
  • Be a team player.
