As Beverage Director, you are responsible for shaping the guest experience through innovative beverage offerings, operational excellence, and team leadership. You oversee all aspects of bar operations--from concept development and inventory strategy to compliance and staff training. Your role is both creative and strategic, ensuring the bar program aligns with brand standards, drives profitability, and delivers exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Design and evolve the beverage program
, including cocktails and non-alcoholic offerings, with a focus on creativity, seasonality, and guest appeal.
Lead and mentor bar leadership and staff

Oversee inventory management
, vendor relationships, and purchasing to ensure cost-effective operations and product quality.
Develop and implement SOPs
for bar setup, service standards, cleanliness, and compliance with all alcohol service regulations.
Collaborate with culinary, events, and marketing teams
to align beverage offerings with menus, promotions, and brand initiatives.
Ensure POS systems and financial controls
are optimized for accuracy, reporting, and accountability.
Monitor guest feedback and market trends
to refine offerings and maintain competitive edge.
Train staff on product knowledge

Maintain compliance
with federal, state, and local liquor laws, including TABC and health department regulations.
Represent the bar program

Required Skills and Abilities

Education and Experience
Valid TABC and Food Handler certifications required prior to employment.
