Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated Benefits Counselor to join our team, providing expert guidance and support to clients regarding their insurance benefits. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, sales experience, and a thorough understanding of benefits administration. This role involves engaging with clients to assess their needs, explain available options, and facilitate the enrollment process while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Multilingual abilities and experience in outside sales or telemarketing are highly valued to enhance client outreach and service delivery.

Duties



Conduct consultations with clients to understand their insurance needs and explain benefit options clearly and effectively. Assist clients in selecting appropriate insurance plans, leveraging negotiation skills to tailor solutions that meet individual requirements. Manage sales administration tasks, including processing applications, updating records, and maintaining accurate documentation. Engage in outside sales activities to expand client base through outreach efforts, marketing initiatives, and community engagement. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and offering ongoing support throughout the benefits enrollment process. Analyze client data and feedback to identify opportunities for improving benefits offerings and service delivery. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding sensitive client information during all interactions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure benefits programs are aligned with company policies and client needs. Utilize strong communication skills to educate clients about benefits options, coverage details, and plan features in a clear manner.

Qualifications



Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or telemarketing with a track record of successful client engagement. Strong negotiation skills to effectively advocate for clients' best interests while achieving organizational goals. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse populations. Knowledge of benefits administration, insurance sales, and customer service best practices. Analysis skills to interpret client data and market trends for strategic decision-making. Experience in marketing or sales-related roles that involve promoting products or services directly to consumers. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and compliance during all client interactions. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and organization skills. Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
