Essential Functions:



Responsibilities -



Assist team members with benefits information and all claims. Receive and forward all health care costs for payment to Accounts Payable. Maintain close communication with all team members regarding insurance changes and educate team members on utilization of health coverage. Timely processing and forwarding all medical claims to include: medical drugs, dental, vision, and non-work-related disability claims. Review monthly cost reports for premiums paid in regard to the correct number of team members, to include all insurance (health and optional). Process all death claims for benefits due by completing all necessary forms and forwarding them to proper carrier for payment. Oversee all 401K meeting and paperwork. Coordinate all benefit meetings. Update and maintain benefit information and 401K files for all eligible team members. Attend orientation each week to speak with new team members regarding benefits. Maintain all FMLA claims and issue appropriate forms in compliance with DOL guidelines. Respond to court orders pertaining to insurance eligibility for team members and their dependents. Other duties as directed or needed.

Requirements:





Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Computer skills required include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Software 2000 and ADP Workforce Ready. Must be able to work with high volumes of confidential information in a professional manner. Must be able to handle difficult/emotional employees well. Must be familiar with employee benefits, including health insurance, 401K, disability, FMLA, COBRA and other work related benefits. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Must have excellent customer service skills. * 2+ years in related work field or equivalent work experience.
