Aspen ABA is looking for compassionate, dependable individuals to join our growing team. This position is Full-Time in Cheyenne at 15 hrs a week and potential for more in the future!

This is a great opportunity for those with experience as a CNA, caregiver, DSP, paraprofessional, special education aide, or anyone passionate about helping others. No prior ABA experience is required--we provide all the training you need to be successful!

Pay scale for behavioral technicians (BTs) who don't have their RBT is $16-18 depending on experience. BTs will earn their RBT (paid training) with Aspen ABA and upon passing the test, receive a substantial bonus. For those who already have their RBT certification, the pay scale is $22-$25 depending on their level of experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

RBT Certification (not required but must be earned as part of the job) High school or equivalent diploma or transcripts Reliable transportation Ability to interact, engage, and have fun with individuals with disabilities Ability to constantly get up/down off floor, move quickly Comfortable learning our data collection software Desire to learn and work independently at times Interested in working daytime hours: shifts range between the hours of 9am-7pm Willingness to undergo a background check
Duties of the BT team member:

Provide high-quality, interactive ABA therapy directly with clients of varying ages in a variety of settings including the client's home, school, and/or the community. Help learners gain life skills that will increase the learner's independence (communication, daily living, potty training, social/emotional skills, play skills, vocational skills) Teach learners new communication skills and replacement behaviors through the use of evidence-based techniques to reduce challenging behaviors. Collect accurate data and meet data collection minimums for the services provided, as well as write detailed session notes in order to inform decisions made by BCBAs. Reliably attends scheduled sessions Participate in ongoing trainings

Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
