LighthouseTherapy, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate
Behavioral Technician
to provide community-based support and skills training to clients in various stages of recovery, rehabilitation, or reintegration. This position focuses on helping individuals build independence and confidence through hands-on training in real-world environments such as workplaces, community centers, and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
Provide
direct one-on-one behavioral support
and skills coaching in community, home, and vocational settings.
Conduct
community and work reintegration training
, including:
Shopping and budgeting skills
Public and private transportation training
Money management and daily living skills
Avocational activities and leisure planning
Work environment and task analysis
Use and maintenance of assistive technology and adaptive equipment
Implement individualized treatment or rehabilitation plans under the supervision of licensed clinicians.
Document session data, progress, and behavioral observations accurately and in compliance with Medicaid/Medicare and internal standards.
Collaborate with therapists, case managers, and family members to ensure continuity of care.
Participate in team meetings, supervision sessions, and ongoing training as required.
Qualifications
Education:
Associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, behavioral health, occupational therapy, or related field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience providing community-based behavioral or rehabilitative services.
Experience with work reintegration, adaptive skill training, or assistive technology preferred.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain professional boundaries.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the community.
Knowledge of adaptive equipment and behavior support strategies.
Certifications (Preferred):
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or equivalent behavioral health credential.
Background Check:
Must successfully pass a background screening and meet all state/federal requirements for working in behavioral health settings.
