Job Description

As part of our School-Based Services Teams, Behavioral Interventionists help students navigate challenges and achieve greater success in their school and community lives. By partnering closely with educators and mental health professionals, you will implement individualized behavioral support plans that improve emotional regulation, increase engagement in learning, and foster positive relationships. Through direct supervision and hands-on support, you play a critical role in creating safe, supportive learning environments during the school year and through an engaging, community-based summer program. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position.


Tasks include:

Provide counseling to youth in social and recreational/leisure skills Follow and implement written programming, behavioral, and crisis plans for identified youth Communicate well with the child, school officials, agency team members, parents, and other community stakeholders. Record behavior and notes to agency requirements.

Education / Experience:



Bachelors Degree required. Degree in human services, education or psychology preferred.



Additional Requirements:



Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to interact well with parents, school staff, WCMHS staff, and other professionals. * Valid driver's license, excellent driving record, and access to a safe, reliable, insured vehicle is required.
