OVERVIEW OF THE POSITION
This is a Master's and/or Doctoral level position requiring current licensure and ability to be credentialed with insurance providers. The psychedelic psychotherapist must have excellent working knowledge of mental health diagnoses, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based treatments such as internal family systems (IFS), somatic interventions, EMDR, or behavioral interventions such as CBT or DBT for treating mental health conditions and working with psychedelics including ketamine. The psychedelic psychotherapist will provide skill training through psychoeducation and patient education strategies as well as develop specific treatment plans for patients and mental health protocols for target populations.
This is a flexible, pay-per-service role designed to reward your clinical impact and dedication. Providers earn $20 per hour plus a commission split, allowing you to grow your income based on client caseload and availability. QUALIFICATIONS
Possess current, valid licensure as a psychologist (PhD or PsyD), licensed social worker (LCSW), marriage and family therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Counselor (LPC) in the state of
Colorado
. Must be fully licensed and able to work independently(no provisional licenses at this time please).
Preferably trained in psychedelic/ketamine psychotherapy/facilitation. If not trained, training will be provided in-house prior to psychotherapist meeting with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy clients.
DUTIES
Provide ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP).
Provide psychotherapy sessions to clients who are not receiving psychedelic treatment.
Engaging in outreach to clients to help build caseload.
Attend trainings to stay up-to-date on the latest psychedelic and psychotherapy interventions.
Perform new patient intakes and evaluations.
Assess the clinical status of patients referred by primary care providers through brief consultative contacts.
Teach patients, families, and staff care, prevention, and treatment enhancement techniques.
Complete casenotes in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned by your direct supervisor.
Participate in clinical supervision and/or consultation for team building purposes.
Maintain professional licensure within the guidelines of the provider's professional identity.
Provide services within the scope of their professional training and to see consultation when appropriate.
Walk patients to cars, bathrooms, etc. as needed
