Role Overview



As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one with the student in their home, implementing an individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) created by a BCBA. Your work will directly support the student's growth in communication, focus, and positive behavior skills.



Daily Responsibilities




Build rapport and find creative ways to help the student express needs, wants, and feelings Implement ABA strategies, including discrete trial teaching, prompting, modeling, redirection, and reinforcement Track and document progress after each session Follow clinical direction from BCBA supervisors Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and colleagues

Qualifications




Education in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Language Pathology

Preferred

: Active RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board Strong communication skills and reliability Experience working with children, preferably those with Autism or developmental challenges Ability to document progress notes accurately Creative and structured play skills
