Location: Rock Hill, SC

Full-Time | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: based on experience

Reports To: Clinical Supervisor/BCBA

As we continue to grow, we're seeking a motivated and experienced individual to serve as our Behavior Technician Training Coordinator.

Job Summary

The Training Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the onboarding and development of new behavior technicians. This position helps ensure consistency, professionalism, and a positive learning experience for new staff entering the clinical environment. This role is non-supervisory and does not include clinical oversight or decision-making responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Support onboarding activities and help acclimate new behavior technicians to clinical procedures Coordinate schedules and logistics for training sessions and shadowing opportunities Assist with orientation, materials distribution, and documentation tracking Promote a positive team culture through mentoring and peer support Provide feedback to supervisors on trainee progress and areas of strength or need Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development activities Provide ABA therapy as needed. Assume lead RBT role to assist BCBA as needed.

Qualifications



Required:



Current RBT certification in good standing

6+ months of experience providing direct ABA services

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support peers

Commitment to professional conduct and ethical standards


Preferred:

Experience supporting new hire onboarding or training activities Familiarity with electronic data systems (e.g., CentralReach) Interest in future leadership or career growth in ABA
Note:

This is a non-supervisory position. All training activities occur under the direction of a qualified BCBA and do not involve clinical decision-making or RBT supervision in accordance with BACB guidelines.

All candidates progressing to final interview stages must complete a brief pre-hire competency assessment. This assessment ensures competency and understanding of ABA principles such as prompting, reinforcement, data collection, and session documentation.
