Overview


As a Behavior Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, providing support and guidance to help clients achieve their goals. Your compassionate approach and dedication to patient care will make a significant impact in the lives of children and families.

What you'll do



Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect and analyze data to track client progress and adjust strategies as necessary. Engage with children in various settings, fostering a positive and supportive environment. Conduct patient assessments to identify needs and develop tailored strategies. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including intake forms and behavioral health records. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while handling sensitive information. Collaborate with families and other professionals to provide comprehensive support. Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance your skills in special education and behavioral therapy.

Basic qualifications



Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities. Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices. Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles.

Preferred qualifications



Background in special education or related fields. Experience with data collection methods relevant to behavioral health. Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation processes for developmental disabilities.
