We are seeking reliable and compassionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide in-home ABA therapy to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related developmental needs. As a key member of the care team, you will implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA to help clients build communication, social, play, and daily living skills--right in their natural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 ABA therapy to clients in their homes
Implement individualized programs and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) under BCBA supervision
Accurately collect, record, and submit behavior and skill acquisition data using electronic systems
Complete timely session note documentation using electronic systems
Utilize evidence-based strategies, including prompting, reinforcement, and behavior management techniques
Support the development of functional communication, social interaction, play, and self-help skills
Proactively manage challenging behaviors using strategies outlined in the behavior plan
Maintain ongoing communication with your supervising BCBA regarding client progress
Attend scheduled supervision, team meetings, and ongoing training sessions
Maintain client confidentiality and comply with ethical guidelines as outlined by the BACB and HIPAA
Arrive on time to in-home sessions and maintain a consistent schedule with families
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or related field preferred
RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
Prior experience with ABA or working with children with special needs preferred
Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes
Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
Must pass a background check
Comfortable working in family homes and adapting to different home environments
Ability to work independently and respond calmly to challenging behaviors
Work Environment:
Services are provided in clients' homes, which may vary in structure, space, and family dynamics
Requires sitting, standing, playing on the floor, and occasional physical activity such as lifting or repositioning a child
