Dallas School District No. 2 is accepting applications for a full-time Behavior Specialist at Whitworth Elementary School. This position begins in the 2023-24 school year.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must have a current Oregon teaching license with the appropriate endorsement for providing instruction at the 4-5 level.
Behavior management experience preferred.
Ability to support individual students in developing strategies and skills, including conflict resolution, responsibility, and problem solving.
Ablility to plan, develop, and implement individual student behavior contracts in collaboration with parents and building administrators.
Can act as a resource for staff with discipline issues and/or assisting teachers in effective and culturally appropriate classroom management practices.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
