Job Description

Browns River Middle School is seeking a Behavior Interventionist to provide social, emotional, and behavioral support to students through programming based in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This role helps students access their learning safely and successfully.

Key Responsibilities:



Implement individual and group behavior plans. Build supportive relationships with students. Assist with academics, play, and social interactions. Provide de-escalation and crisis support using CPI strategies. Collect and track data under BCBA guidance. Model behavioral strategies for school staff.

Qualifications:



High School Diploma required. 3-5 years of experience working with students preferred. Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and engage in active, play-based support. RBT certification or willingness to complete training.
