We're Hiring! Behavior Intervention Specialist

Make a difference in the lives of neurodivergent children! We're looking for a caring and motivated Behavior Intervention Specialist (BIS) to join our team.

What You'll Do:

? Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA

?Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA

?Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children with autism

? Assist in developing and carrying out individualized treatment plans

? Document client progress and behavior observations

?Collaborate with families and other professionals to ensure consistency in care

Requirements:

Education: Master's degree or higher in psychology, education, applied behavior analysis, or a related discipline Must include 1,500 hours of relevant coursework/training in areas such as child development, learning theory, positive behavior support, dual diagnosis, psychology, education, or ABA Direct Experience: At least 1,200 hours implementing comprehensive behavioral therapies for participants with functional or behavioral needs Supervised Experience: At least 1,040 hours working with children and youth (birth-21) who demonstrate functional or behavioral needs
Applicants with a 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training or a valid Idaho Habilitative Intervention Certificate of Completion (issued July 1, 2019, or later, with no 3+ year gap in employment) may also qualify.
