Job Summary



We are seeking a dedicated and motivated

Behavior Coaching Intern

to join our team at Living and Balance Wellness Center. This internship is designed for students completing their bachelor's degree in behavioral health sciences who need internship hours to fulfill their degree requirements.

Duties



Assist in conducting behavioral assessments and developing coaching plans for clients Provide individual and group coaching sessions under supervision Utilize techniques such as: Behavior modification Motivational interviewing Goal setting Support clients with diverse needs, including skill development and behavior management Participate in coaching plan reviews and case management activities Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective coaching strategies Maintain accurate records and documentation following HIPAA guidelines Facilitate coaching groups and creative therapeutic approaches Assist with crisis management and behavior management strategies

Qualifications



Currently pursuing a

bachelor's degree

in: Behavioral Health Sciences Psychology Or a related field Needing internship hours to complete degree requirements Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards Eagerness to learn and engage in a client-focused environment

Preferred (not required):



Experience or coursework in behavior analysis or health coaching Familiarity with telehealth practices Previous experience in clinical or coaching settings

Internship Details



Initial Training Phase:



First 90 days devoted to intensive training, studying, and shadowing Focus on building skills and professional foundation

Supervision & Documentation:



Weekly one-on-one supervision sessions with a designated Supervisor Practical experience using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Training in accurate documentation and compliance
