Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Beertender to join our team. As a Beertender, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while providing patrons with a diverse selection of beers. This position requires a passion for hospitality and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Duties

Serve a variety of beers, ensuring accurate pouring and presentation. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about the beer selection. Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Monitor guest behavior and ensure compliance with legal drinking age regulations. Collaborate with other staff members to create an enjoyable experience for all patrons. Assist in managing inventory levels and placing orders for supplies when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, particularly in a bar setting. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is essential. Basic math skills are required for handling transactions accurately. A strong understanding of beer varieties and brewing processes is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
