TITLE: Beekeeper (LOCAL/STATE CANDIDATE) Join our team of experienced beekeepers! Tauzer Apiaries is a family owned and operated business with over forty-five years of beekeeping experience in Northern California.

Our main goals are to keep healthy bees and healthy employees. We provide professional pollination services to all areas of Northern California, raise queens for ourselves and for sale, and sell honey to retail outlets.

Duties as a beekeeper is to maintain strong, healthy hives by inspecting, feeding, medicating, moving, and preparing them to help local farmers with their pollination needs and possible honey production. You will be tasked with checking the general health of the hive, inspecting for mites, and making sure there is ample food for our bees. As a beekeeper team member, you must have a commitment to safety while operating all of your daily tasks. Self-starter who can work independently with little supervision. Enthusiastically acknowledge and role model guidelines, policies and procedures expected by the company. In addition, encourage positive morale when working in crews and continue to improve operations through the lens of our Core Values: Integrity, Work Ethic, Commitment, Attitude, and Consistency.
Qualifications:

Beekeeping experience is preferred, but experience is not required. We are more than willing to train the right candidate.
Must have the ability to work in teams, and can lift 75 lbs.

Candidates with valid, insurable driver\xe2\x80\x99s license preferred

Ability to work in a collaborative team environment

Commercial Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license (preferred)

Forklift experience (preferred)

Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred
A positive attitude, a hunger to learn, and a strong desire to work hard are the main requirements for this position.

Pay structure is hourly with a possibility of yearly bonuses depending on the productivity of the hives.
