Tending to the needs of about 3000 colonies. Tasks vary depending on the season. Almond pollination is the beginning of our season followed by increase production (nucing/splitting). We then move in to honey production and extraction. In the fall we stay very busy with fall hive maintenance of feeding and disease prevention and then winter preparation and storage. All employees are an integral part of these processes. Responsibilities and Duties Regular work schedule is 8 am to 5 pm (fall and winter) 7am to 4pm (spring and summer). additional shifts available for some early morning or late evening bee moving during certain times of year.
