Beauty Advisor

In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing expert advice on beauty and cosmetics products, assisting customers with their needs, and creating an engaging shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in beauty retail, excellent communication skills, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping clients look and feel their best. Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide personalized beauty consultations Assist customers with product selection, including makeup application demonstrations and product demos Upsell products by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable solutions Manage sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Millennium or other salon software Maintain stock levels through merchandising, stocking shelves, and organizing displays Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, retail math calculations, and balancing registers Manage social media accounts to promote products and store events (social media management) Educate customers on product features, benefits, and usage techniques Conduct product demos to showcase new or popular items Ensure the front desk area is welcoming, organized, and well-maintained Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries via phone etiquette and in person Assist with inventory management and merchandising to enhance store presentation

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or cosmetics sales preferred; experience with Millennium or similar salon software is a plus Knowledge of beauty & cosmetics products, makeup application, and skincare routines Bilingual abilities (English plus additional languages) are highly desirable to serve diverse clientele Strong communication skills with the ability to educate and upsell effectively Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and merchandising tasks Basic math skills for retail math calculations and cash handling procedures Experience with social media management is advantageous for promotional activities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and time management skills Cosmetology background or certification is a plus but not required Friendly demeanor with strong phone etiquette and customer service orientation
