Sally Beauty is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Beauty Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will provide expert advice on beauty and cosmetic products, assist customers in selecting the right solutions, and create an engaging shopping experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty trends, skilled in retail sales, and capable of building strong relationships with clients. Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide personalized beauty consultations to enhance their shopping experience Demonstrate product features and educate customers on usage and benefits Assist with product merchandising, stock replenishment, and maintaining an organized sales floor Operate POS systems accurately for sales transactions, cash handling, and returns Upsell products and promote ongoing sales or promotions to maximize store revenue Maintain knowledge of current beauty trends, new products, and industry standards Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Support front desk operations including phone etiquette, and general store assistance

Requirements

Previous experience with retail sales, preferably in beauty & cosmetics or related fields Proficiency with POS systems, salon software, or similar retail management tools Bilingual abilities (English and additional languages) are highly desirable for serving diverse clientele Strong communication skills with the ability to educate customers effectively Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in merchandising and stock management Ability to perform basic math for retail transactions and inventory counts Demonstrated ability in upselling, customer service excellence, and front desk operations Familiarity with retail math, cash handling procedures, and phone etiquette Multilingual skills are a plus for connecting with a broader customer base

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
