About The Nighthawks:

The Upper Valley Nighthawks are a collegiate summer baseball team based in White River Junction, Vermont, competing in the New England Collegiate Baseball League (NECBL). Founded in 2016, the Nighthawks are known for their competitive baseball, community involvement, and professional development opportunities for both players and staff. Each summer, the team provides a hands-on, growth-focused experience in a fun and fast-paced sports environment.

Internship Information:

Opportunity to Earn College Credit (dependent on school approval) Access to professional-level baseball operations Ability to have creative freedom in a well-supported team and community Networking opportunities with NECBL coaches, players, and league officials

Responsibilities:

Write game previews, recaps, or other stories about the team, coaches, or staff Gather quotes from players and coaches to add to your creative pieces Create content for the team website and work closely with broadcast and creative departments Attend all home and road games

Requirements:

Currently enrolled in Journalism, Communications, English, or a related field Strong writing and storytelling skills Ability to write within tight deadlines Self-motivated, reliable, and creative qualities within a fast-paced schedule Local and able to drive from venue to venue

BASEBALL KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED
