We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Developmental Disability Services program Manager to lead and support programs focused on individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves overseeing behavioral intervention strategies, coordinating care plans, and providing direct support to clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health, with additional expertise in art therapy, psychopharmacology, and gender issues counseling. Duties
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavioral development plans tailored to clients' needs.
Provide direct behavioral support and supervision to clients with developmental disabilities.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists, medical professionals, and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Integrate art therapy techniques into treatment plans to promote emotional expression and skill development.
Apply knowledge of psychopharmacology to support medication management strategies in collaboration with healthcare providers.
Address gender issues counseling needs sensitively, ensuring respectful and inclusive support for all clients.
Train and supervise staff and assistants in behavioral intervention techniques and best practices.
Maintain detailed documentation of client progress, treatment modifications, and service delivery activities.
Stay informed about current research and advancements in behavioral health practices relevant to developmental disabilities.
Needs Assessment Identifying the specific services and supports individuals require.
Resource Connection Linking individuals with appropriate providers, community programs, and technology.
Program Administration Managing Medicaid Home & Community-Based Waivers (e.g., Family Supports, Community Integration) and other funding.
Person-Centered Planning Ensuring services are tailored to individual choice, self-determination, and goals.
Community Inclusion Promoting participation in community life and building connections.
Support Provision Offering or arranging services like supervised group living, job training, supported employment, respite care, and personal care assistance.
Empowerment Empowering individuals with disabilities and their families to make informed decisions.
Experience
Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges.
Background in BDDS or training in therapy for BDDS is highly desirable.
Knowledge of psychopharmacology related to behavioral management is preferred.
Experience providing gender issues counseling or working within diverse populations is a plus.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, healthcare providers, and team members.
Ability to develop innovative treatment approaches tailored to individual client needs. This role is vital for fostering positive growth and well-being among clients while supporting their families through compassionate leadership and expert care delivery.

Pay: $57,842.56 - $77,616.85 per year
