Job Description

We are seeking a Business Development Manager in Construction to join our team in Baltimore. This role focuses on building strong client relationships and driving business growth within the Business Services industry.

  • Collaborate closely with the Vice President of the Northeast Region and broader BD teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute marketing and growth strategies focused on financial performance and client satisfaction.
  • Research and target public and private sector clients in education, healthcare, affordable housing, and civic infrastructure.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Track industry trends, competitor activity, and upcoming project leads in the Mid-Atlantic region.
  • Support preconstruction and proposal teams with insight, strategy, and competitive feedback.

  • 4-5 years of business development experience with a General Contractor or Construction Management firm.
  • Strong understanding of public-sector work - ideally with familiarity in K-12 schools, affordable housing, healthcare facilities, and recreational centers.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting pursuits ranging from $200K to $100M.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • A self-starter who enjoys collaboration, fast-paced environments, and relationship building
