Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and therapy, with a focus on supporting individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs, developing tailored treatment plans, and providing guidance to caregivers and other professionals involved in the clients' care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs of clients. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care. Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavioral interventions and strategies. Collect and analyze data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Stay current with developments in the field of behavior analysis and related disciplines.

Skills

Strong knowledge of special education principles and practices. Familiarity with medical terminology as it pertains to behavioral health. Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities. Ability to work effectively with individuals who have various disabilities. Proficient understanding of behavioral health concepts and therapeutic techniques. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Strong analytical skills for data collection, interpretation, and reporting. Compassionate approach towards clients while maintaining professional boundaries.
