Chem-Pak, Inc. acts as the manufacturing arm of national brands, producing industrial and consumer products that are sold in Home Depot, Dick's Sporting Goods and Wal-Mart.

Our team of chemist's and project managers help develop new products and bring them to market, while our supply chain and production group manufactures and delivers product to store shelves.

We are located in Martinsburg, WV an easy commute from Winchester, Hagerstown and surrounding areas.

Summary:

The Manufacturing Batching Assistant will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and batching of materials for production. This role involves working closely with the Batching Lead and production teams to ensure accurate and efficient batching processes.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and batching of materials according to production schedules and specifications Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines to ensure accurate and safe batching operations Measure and weigh ingredients accurately to ensure proper batch composition Operate batching equipment and perform routine maintenance as needed Monitor batching processes and report any issues to the Batching Lead Maintain accurate records of batching activities, including material usage and production data Perform quality checks on batched materials to ensure they meet company standards. Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

Previous batching experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks Basic math and problem-solving skills Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting

Physical Requirements:

Ability to execute strenuous, sometimes repetitive physical work such as climbing, lifting objects up above shoulder level weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time Able to work in extreme temperatures, indoors and out

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
