Basketball Trainer/Coach

PickUp USA Fitness is currently hiring a Part-time basketball Coach that will perform various duties at our fast-growing fitness club.

Who We Are

PickUp USA Fitness is a fast-growing basketball-focused fitness club. Our unique club provides members with a full weight room and cardio area, luxury lounges, shooting machines, and several basketball courts.

We are passionate about delivering our members an unmatched basketball-focused fitness club experience. To do this, we strive to maintain an immaculately clean club that operates one-of-a-kind basketball-related services. One of these services is our Officiated PickUp Games. We run back-to-back-to-back organized 10-minute basketball games with two referees daily. In addition, we run daily group training sessions and offer private training packages to members looking to take their game to the next level! The latter will be the Trainer's primary focus.

As a Basketball Trainer at PickUp USA Fitness, you will work one-on-one and in small groups with members to help them achieve their basketball/fitness objectives. Be the spark that inspires someone to keep training, to try harder, and be the best they can be.

As a Coach, you will run weekly Team Practices, Skills Clinics, and League Games for our Youth Development League. Instill values of hard work, teamwork, sportsmanship, and overall development on and off the court for our Youth Athletes.

We will help you advance your career through our development program and provide you with access to our countless list of prospective clients.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct energetic team practices and skills clinics

Actively coach and develop our youth athletes in practices and games

Sell and service private training packages

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Expertise in basketball/fitness

Ability to effectively demonstrate all skills being taught

Proficient in sales

Punctual and able to project a professional image through dress, behavior, and attitude

Minimum Educational Level

High School Diploma

Required/Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrable expertise in basketball is required

Training certification is preferred

Work Schedule

Youth Development League Practices and Games

Monday - Thursday: 5 pm - 6 pm

Saturday: 10 am - 6 pm

Private Training

Open availability based on the client's schedule
